Helping words to get through life

Just to remeber

Yesterday afternoon I recived the worst phone call of the day.... A very close friend to our family (Jaden's, my brother, best friend) died in a car crash late Tuesday night. Scotty was like a brother to me and was the sweetest guy you could find. I remeber all the times I drove them around, the nights staying up playing games, doing school activity, and all the times he would stick up for me when Jaden and I would fight. I will never forget watching him graduate, his sweet smile and laugh. My fav. memory is back in high school when I had just a bad day and he stayed at the house with me just to cheer me up, then made me drive aroud town until he had me laughing again. He was a big teddy bear, he was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Please pray for his family, his baby girl (4months old) who now will never know her daddy, and all the friends that are so upset with his untimely death.

Fun week!

Lots happend this week but we will start off with some cute stories...

Paisley was in the car the other day and her fav. song right now is Toot Toot (wiggles) and this is the conversation we had about the song....

Mommy: Paisley what CD do you want to listen to now?

Paisley: Toot Toot Please

Mommy: Ok more Toot Toot

Paisley: (song is on) Toot Toot....TOOT TOOT, thank you mama

Mommy: Your welcome... Paisley do you love the wiggles?

Paisley: yes, the wiggles toot!

Mommy: yes the wiggle sing Toot Toot

Paisley: no the wiggle toot HEEE HEEE

I thought it was too cute and had to share with everyone. I don't know where she came up with the wiggles tooting because that is not something she has seen in a show.... She thinks that she is to funny and now tells people when she or anyone else toots.

Another sad but funny story about miss Paisley... Lately she has been coming into our room at night to try to sleep with us but is always crying (pretty hard) so we wake up to see what is wrong and let her in bed for a few min. until he puts her back in bed... Well the other night I woke up to see that our door is completly open but we did not hear her come in. I look over Tryon to see her curled up next to him and did not think nothing of it. The next morning I asked Tryon when Paisley came into the room and he told me he did not know he just woke up some time and she was laying next to him. I asked Paisley if she snuck into our room last night and she smile and said "yes i shhh" we laughed so hard. She was to smart and becasue of that sleep in the room most the night.

Well nothing really special has happend but the kids are always playing together and growing up to fast. Paisley has learned a lot of new letters and is working on colors and shapes. She knows 5 shapes and 2 colors. Keyton is getting really big and is always wanting to pull up with some help. I think he will be moving so much faster than Paisley ever did. Oh and he love to lick everything... my shoulder, his blankets, or his own hand. It is cute but I always have a wet spot on my shoulder!!! I can't believe how big he is, it seems like he grows at night all the time. He goes to the doc. Monday so we will see just how big he is now.

Well we had another play date and the girls were just too cute. They were hugging all over each other. (Sorry no pics of this) I really hope to get some of them soon because the girls are to cute together....

Tryon finally had a 3 day weekend and we loved having him home for so long.... Paisley was a little spoilled from seeing him that long but it was great.... Here are some pics from there time with Daddy!!!

I walk into my Dads room to find Paisley like this....Dad what are you teaching her!!!!?

Paisley's suprize and my sweet boy!!!

Well we really love to spoil our kids!!! We used some of our tax return to get Paisley and later Keyton and the rest of the bunch a play ground for the back yard. It has a tunel and two slides (one big and one smaller) and plenty of things to climb on. This way I can watch and help her with out having to worry about a stroller or the little one. She loved it and was soooooooo excited to use it yesterday morning for the first time. She loves to slide and the play ground grows wuth the kids so it should be fun for now and in a few years we can add a bigger one.

Here are the pics of her playing on the new play ground....

Just some sweet ones of Keyton laying outside in his chair while we played....

Paisley's new fav. place to sit.... she will sit there and rock all day if I let her.

Smart kids!

Paisley has really impressed me this last week. We got her some alph. letters for the fridge this last week and have been playing with them every day. ( going over what the letters are and just having fun with them) as of today she knows 12 of the letters. ( b,e,x,o,s,i,q,j,g,u,t,k and sometimes c) I think by the end of the month she will know all the letters because when she ask me to play with her she only wants to play with the letters and if she does not know one she ask me what it is. I am so proud of her and can't believe that at 18 months she know so many letters.

Also this week she went to the doc. and in now 25 lb and 32'' tall. She would not let the doc. get a real good look at the back teeth so we still don't know how long it will be til the teething thing is over but other than that she is doing great!!!!

Her big thing right now is to play with her baby dolls (only has 2) and play mommy all the time. The other day the old stroller was in the house and she was putting her dolls in it and pushing them around the house. It was so funny to watch her push around the over-size stroller.

On a different note.... Paisley tried to get Keyton out of the swing yesterday. He was buckled in but she had him folded in half and was pulling on him trying to get him out of the swing. It scared me so bad but Keyton was fine as soon as I sat him up he stopped crying. I can't believe she would try to pick him up when all I did was walk into the kitchen to get her some water. (5seconds).

Keyton is really talking and smiling at everyone now. He loves to sit in the room with everyone and smile at anyone who looks his way. He has the sweetest little smile and really loves to be call a big boy and handsome. I love how he interacts with Paisley already. He is also really strong (compared to Paisley at this age) he already pulls up alittle when he hold your hands and loves to put weight on his legs. He also so has great controll over his little head and really looks around the room. Even though he loves to hold his head up he is the biggest cudler ever and curls up into you when you hold him on your hip. I love it because Paisley only does on her turms. He has also started sleeping at night for 5 hours strait, the only bad thing is it is from 8 to 1 so I don't sleep the whole 5 hours yet. I hope it wont be to long until I get to sleep most of the night.

The Stroller pics
She was stuck but I had to take a pic. I don't know how she got between the bar of the table and the wall....
big boy!!!!

Fun Times

Paisley has made a new little friend... My friend from high school (also named Cassie) has a little girl who is 5 months older than Paisley (and a boy 6 weeks older than Keyton crazy). We all go to church together and the girls have really hit it off. Paisley always ask for her little friend Mandi and gets so excited to see her at church. We had them over wed. night for dinner and the girls were way to cute. At one point Paisley got her popper and was chasing Mandi around and they were laughing sooo hard, then they played together with the toys which is a first for Paisley. Then the best was Paisley droped her passy on the floor and said "Oh no" (she now does for anything she does) and Mandi put in back in her mouth, we all laughed so Paisley kept droping it and Mandi kept putting it back in it was so sweet. We are now starting play dates for the kids and hope that they get to be really close, I also hope to get pics of them playing soon for everyone to see how sweet and cute they are together.

The other day I was looking for Paisley and found her in the baby swing, it was too funny now she always gets in it and makes herself swing the only problem is that she wants in it when Keyton is in it, but she knows that he needs it.

Keyton is starting to "talk" it is so cute and he is even starting to "talk" with you when you play with him. Also he is so tickleish and is starting to smile as you tickle him. Paisley has been watching me tickle him and now is too. She even make funny sounds as she does it and he loves the attention from her. She loves to play with him and really loves to make him smile. The other day he was in the vibrater chair and she pulled up her chair and started to read to him even showing him the pics. I was laughing so hard because it was too cute to watch, Paisley is such a little mommy and loves to help and hold him.

Paisley with this glove book that I got for the kids, she put it on and was reading it.
She took this from me and ate the whole thing
feel asleep right behind the door, such a good gril for not leaving the room
cute kids

Doc. Visit

Keyton went to the doc. this morning and everything is looking good. He gained weight and now is 11 lbs and 4 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She said everything was good and that we would still just watch his reflux until he is 2 months old. She does not want to give him medication because he is gaining weight and for now we will just have to deal with the fun spitting up like with Paisley. He will still be on rice and right now he has good days with none and days where we can seem to stop him, but he is doing great.

Paisley goes in two weeks so we will see if those last 4 teeth are coming in or not. She wont let me look but does good for the doc. I hope that they are coming in so that she will be done with teething. She is doing good and really loves to sing now, she knows the word to a few wiggle songs and sings them all the time. She also knows the dances and now does them with the videos and the cds in the car. I love to watch her do them it is so cute and funny.

We also had the kids pics taken the other day. Paisley's turned out good and one of them together and only one of Keyton turned out ok. The lady was not very good with kids or babies and it took us a very long time to get them done but the kids are too cute so they look pretty good. But we will send them soon to everyone. (They were in the outfits from the last post, the black and white outfits, Paisley had a green sweeter on and Keyton's shirt had pandas on it)

My Big girl and cute boy

Today Paisley was such a big girl.... She walked into the bathroom (which she is not to do with out me or Tryon) and by the time I got into the bathroom she was sitting on her potty (with clothes on). I asked her if she wanted to sit on the potty like a big girl and she said yes. Next thing I know the music is going off because she pooped in the potty like a big girl. I was so impressed that she knew she needed to go!!! I am not pushing her but looks like it is time to start trying more. She was so proud of herself and wanted to call her Daddy to let him know but he was not able to talk and she told him later on when he was home.

She also is playing mother to Keyton all the time. It is really cute to watch her clean his face, put his passy in for him, and she even lets me know if something is wrong with him in the car like his head is out of his head rest or if he is spitting up. She loves on him all the time and you would never know that she does not like other babies because she loves all over him. The only bad thing is that she is trying to pick him up and she could if I let her.

Keyton is doing good but his reflux has started to get bad again even with the table spoon of rice. I am able to give him up to 2 table spoons a bottle and I hope that helps because the next step would be medication which is something I do not want to have to do. Pray that the extra rice will help so that we can keep doing thing natural. We will see what the doc. says on friday after being on 2 table spoons a few days. Other than the fun cleaning up part he is great. He loves Paisley talking to him and holding him and is so smiley. He is a good baby and really expressive.
