Helping words to get through life

"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did" When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.
'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.' "

Keyton, Friends, Fun and Cute

Just to let everyone know that the doc. finally called and they are not going to do anything about his heart right now. They say it is small and will keep there eye on it. When he is two (if it is still there) they will look into other options. Thanks for your prayers on this one.

For a dear friend

My sweet friend Savanna lost her brother-in-law on Wed. He was at work but the sun was in his eyes and he hit an 18 wheeler. I feel so badly for her and her hubby. We all hung out before I moved to Abilene, every weekend. He was a good friend and a sweet guy. Please keep them in your prayers....... He will be missed.. He was a funny guy who keep us all laughing and was fun to be around. I know his brother (savanna's hubby) is having a really hard time with the whole thing. They were always together and always looking out for eachother.

Sorry that I have not put up the pics yet!! Lots going on right now.....

Update!

Sorry it has been so long....

Paisley...... now knows her whole alphabet!! Sometimes she still has problems with some of the letters but for the most part knows them all. Now she will point out letters on signs and other things around. She will make sure you know that she knows the letter.... She always says "Mama, Mama, (s)(s)." until you say "Yes the letter (s)" or whatever letter she has. I am just amazed at how much she knows. Also this week she has really started being even more of a cut-up and I love the funny little laugh she does when she is making a joke or a funny face. Tryon and I have been really enjoying watching her find her funny side. I hope if you see her soon that she comes out of her shell and you can see this side of her. She always picks my spirt up when she is this way.
Paisley is now a little dare devil... She climbs all over the little playground we got her and now is climbing the slide (the wrong way). I can't believe that at 19 months she is able to climb up a slide but she love it. Also we have be going up to this park and it is really a neat playground with lots to climb on. She was climbing all the stairs and the little rock stairs the whole time. then she walk the balance beam (hold my hands) with out falling once. I think in a few weeks she will be trying all by her self (if Mommy lets her). She is growing up to fast but I am loving every min.

Keyton.... is doing good. He is really big and is really strong. He is now talking so much and is really loud for how little he is. He wants you to know he is talking and I still love how much he smiles and is exploring more little looks. The other day he was leaning on my arm ( not sitting all the way up ) and he just sat all the way up with no help!! I was so shocked but excited that he is staring to want to move on his own. He still loves to sit up from laying down (with help) and still loves playing with Paisley.. He also love bath time and just watches Paisley play and when she pays attition to him, he starts kicking and laughing at her. I love to watch them interact together and see how sweet Paisley is with him.
His little heart.... We will hopefully find out something this week. I just can't wait to see what the plan is from here so that I can stop be so worried about him. I will send a little blog out when we know everything.

Tryon.... He is loving Amarillo but the job does not look like it is working out. The company has already shut down one store and at his store has let 2 sellsmen go. He also got the extra training part taken away and along with it went the money. The pay was the only reason he took the job and now we are only making just as much as at his old job. He is trying to find something different and thinking about other types of jobs. The big thing he is thinking about is becoming a teacher in the next year or so. The only thing we do know is that we want to stay in Amarillo because we have really found a great church that we love so much and friends that we have really grown to love(ones we see at least once a week if not more). On top of everything our house has not sold, we have a month to get a new car, and are still having to live with the parents which is just putting a stran on our little family. We just need something to give.

Sorry the kids are waking up so the new pic will be up later.....

Keyton needs your prayers

Keyton went to the doc. today and he is now 23 1/4 in. and 14 lbs 4 oz(3/4 in. shorter than Paisley and the same weight at this age). He also had to have his first shots today. He took the medication and shots just fine with a little screaming. The thing is that he now has developed a heart mermer and has to go tomorrow to have and EKG done. The doc. does not think it is to bad but want to see were we need to go from here. It could be so small that they just watch it and he will grow out of it, or we could be having to do medication or even operate to fix it. I am a little freaked out but hoping that it is nothing. Please pray that it is not very bad and that it heals fast. I will let everyone know what they say as soon as we know....
