Funny kids

So to start out with some funny stories!

First last Sat. I thought my water was leaking...(so was not but you know) so we left the kids and went to the hospital to come right back and get them...We walk in and Paisley is mad that we did not bring home her baby sister! She did not talk to me the rest of the night. Keyton was happy and told Brezlyn to stay in there! Ha his world is about to change. I thought it was really fun to see them both so different on the part of baby sis.

Then the other day Keyton had a bad diaper and I asked him if he was stinking up my car and He told me no. I laughed and asked who it was and he told me " Its Brezlyn's bad diaper" with a strait face. Tryon and I started laughing so hard and realized it has already started... Then Paisley tells him that Brezlyn is not wearing diapers yet she is nake in my tummy! Ha Ha Ha! Love it!

Big things...Keyton is now counting to 10, knows all the colors and is working on his letters. He knows the difference in letters and numbers but not which ones they are yet. He has blown me away lately with how well he can hold a conversation with you and some of the big words that will come out of his mouth! love the growing mind.
Paisley is more and more a kid than a baby! She tries to mommy keyton and me...Just today I was feeling bad and was coughing...she sat right up and asked me "Mommy you ok?" just like I do when they are coughing! So sweet.. She is learning about the things around us and asking really big questions. Loves to learn whatever she can.

Needing advice... Paisley has picked up a bad thing at school...Just yesterday it got really bad. She got mad at Keyton and bit his finger so hard that it took some skin off and left a few bruises. It was really bad and bloody...She got in big trouble for it but every time we cleaned his finger or he tried to use it she would laugh at him screaming...I was wondering how to stop the biting and the not caring he is hurt...Any ideas?

Bring on Christmas!

So I am loving this Christmas season!!! Paisley is at the age were she is asking for the things she wants and really understands the Santa thing!! Love how excited she is for Christmas and all the things that goes with it like decorating and seeing the lights. This also gets Keyton excited because he wants to be like big sis and I love when we are driving and the scream.."Christmas lights Christmas Lights" It makes me laugh every time. Then Keyton is just realizing that Santa is something special and is getting excited about him. Love this age and love Christmas!! I can't wait to see how excited they get when Christmas day rolls around!

This is Keyton with his snake that he chases us with!! The story form the last post! He is now doing this with almost anything and today him and Paisley were getting each other with little cats....almost like a pillow fight. It was really funny

This last week we went back to our friends house to make ornaments with the kids. They had so much fun painting and putting things together. Even the moms got time to do one.

So after the whole hair cutting thing, if the kids get to quiet I get worried! So the other morning they did and I found them in the Kitchen with both their bikes parked side by side and they had made themselves a little reading area! So funny and so glad they were not getting into trouble

So this is really cute.... The kids have a stethoscope and Keyton got it out the other night. He came over to my belly and put it on Brezlyn to try to hear her heart beat like the Doctor does. Then she rolled over and he got so excited turning to Paisley and yelling.."moves, moves" making the sweetest excited face. They did this for about 5 min and she moved almost every time like she was playing with him!!! Love it

Then I get the best pic of them I think I have ever gotten, well since Keyton was really little! Love this one and they have been really hugging a lot now!

So Dec. started off with the new addition to my extended family....As posted before my little cousin had her baby and here are some sweet pics of Kennadee Noelle!!! Born Dec. 2 Can't wait to see her!!!

So today Paisley went with me to get everyone lunch and on the way home she really cracked me up....

Paisley: Mommy!!!! There is a crocodile outside my window!!! (looking up in the sky)
Mommy: oh really...
Paisley: Crocodile, Crocodile what are you doing?...Mommy hurry the crocodile is going to eat our food.
Mommy: oh no, I will hurry home so he wont eat our food
Paisley: Crocodile No, you can't have our food it is for mommy daddy and Keyton and me. Not you silly crocodile. Oh really crocodile...well daddy and keyton are at home...we are taking the food home silly. Mommy the crocodile is my friend now..
Mommy: well that's good, Is the crocodile in the sky?
Paisley : yeah but it is water....Oh no my crocodile has a bad booboo on its tail!!! OWWWW
Mommy: what is wrong?!
Paisley: (laughing) My crocodile bit my nose.....Silly crocodile you don't bit me. Your in timeout!
Mommy: laughing hard....Oh no is he in trouble
Paisley: yeah I told him to go home he was not my friend now.

So funny what they come up with. I am really enjoying the new found imagination! Her playing and everything has gone up and it is really neat to see what she comes up with....Like all the crazy animals and bugs that are her friends.

Keyton is also in a cute stage of copying...He loves to try to talk like a big boy and I love the "me do it" ect. Such a cute stage when they think they are being so big! he also is getting good at pretending to sleep like his big sis. Also his big thing is to get his toy snake and chase someone around the house say "ow ow ow" in a scary voice, acting like the snake is eating that person! Love it!!! It always makes me laugh! So cute and funny!

Fall fun, Thanksgiving, a Giant and a blessing

The end of Nov. was great but we were so busy with family and friends! Can't believe it is already Dec. and that Christmas is around the corner and the our sweet little girl will finally be here! We all can't wait for that Paisley tells me almost every day to go to the hospital and pick up her baby sister! Love it....Today she made up a song about mommy going to the hospital in a few weeks and Brezlyn coming out of my tummy and home! So sweet but makes it just a little harder to wait....Keyton sings it with her but don't think he really knows what he is asking for. Just an update on Brezlyn...She is doing great, as of Thurs. she has flipped and dropped so she is getting ready for the big day in a few weeks. Her heart is good and she is still measuring a little big so that is good news for me!!!! Hope she is big and healthy!

Now for the rest of our fun Nov.

This was just a cute pic of the kids eating a snack one afternoon....The big tub they are sitting on is the tub we put Christmas presents in (they don't know that) so it has not made its way out of the house. They sit on it all the time and us it to turn on the kitchen light! So funny...if they only knew what was inside.

Same day...My Parents (aka Nonnie and Poppy) left the kids big wheels here after Paisley's party! This was just a cute pic of them riding /chasing each other outside. Most the time (because of weather) they ride them around the kitchen table and boy are they fast!

So Paisley has gotten into wearing headbands all the time so of course my little boy had to put one on too....so love the hair though!

Paisley's little friend from school had a party at Chuckie Cheese the other day so this was our first time. They loved it and had a blast riding on all the toys and play ski ball! so fun.
On the marry-go-round....they had to do this one like 4 times!

This is how my kids played...worked for them and us but it was really funny watching them walk back a forth on this. They both played 7 times each!

The Sunday before Thanksgiving we had lunch at Tryon's parents and I tried out these so cute outfits I got for the kids! Love them both and Paisley hates the vest but Keyton loved his. I at least got her to wear it for a little while so that works for now!

So this is Keyton, (cat) Twinkle and cuz Mara...sitting in the swing. Keyton wanted to pet a cat so bad so Mara caught one and the sat together for a little bit swinging! Really cute

So Yeah we put the Tree up before Thanksgiving this year! I had not taken down Halloween so we just skipped Thanksgiving decoration this year! Also the Kids wanted to help me decorate this year so Mommy had to give up some of the control to them so that they would have fun...First the helped me by handing the snow flakes to me and then They did the bottom half and did pretty good, I layed out the ornaments that they could hang with out breaking and they went to town...I was really surprised at how well they spread them out!

Ok so now we are to the Tus. before Thanksgiving....We were all getting ready to go over to a friends house for a family wide play date. I had the kids dressed cute and ready to go. I was getting ready and as always Keyton was following me around. I was about to get on the computer to check an eBay item I was watching when I realized that Paisley was and had been quite a little too long. I decided to go find her to see what she was getting into. I found her in the playroom (on the slide) with a pair of my scrapbook scissors and a big chunk of her bangs gone....Yes cut to the scalp...and her trying to go for some more hair! I got on to her and told her just to go show her daddy!! I was so mad and sad that she had done this, yes I know it is something every girl has to do at some time but I was crying. Tryon got on to her and then I started working on the damage. I pulled her hair down to find out she also had cut 4 in off the back of her hair and so I started cutting away her beautiful hair. She was so embarrassed at the way she looked that she did not even want to go to the play date! We hid it with a headband and she was ok. but Mommy was really sad that we lost so much hair right before Thanksgiving and Christmas pics.

So this play date was a long one ....we got there around 3 and stayed for dinner and left around 8 or so...The kids played so hard that before we got a few blocks away they were both crash in the car!! So sweet and I loved the time we spent with them it was great for us and the kids!

On to Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving with Tryon's family! Almost all of his sibs were there and it was fun catching up with the reast of the family too. The kids had fun eating a playing in the yard while Daddy played some game with his brother. I took the oppertunity of Poet's (tryon's aunt) beautiful garden to snap a few cute pics of the kids. And yes Paisley is wearing a hat because she did not want anyone to see her hair..so the night before I made this one for Her.

So (back story) Tryon's sister Tahj and her boyfriend have a huge dog named Wallace. He is really sweet but sooooooo big that he could walk right over Keyton's head with no problem. Well the kids wanted to go out side to see him so here are some cute pics of the kids with the giant.

Tryon desided that Keyton needed to ride him like a horse!Keyton loved the dog and Laughed so hard when he would get kisses..at this point he was not quite ready to get down on the ground with the massive dogs (tryon's cuz. has one to but she is not quite as massive as Wallace)

Well Poor Keyton finally wants to get on the ground with Wallace (after the wild girl dog is put up) and he is standing there when Wallace's tail comes to "attack" him. It gets him about 4 time in the check before I can pick him up. He was so sad but shock at what had happened that he tried not to cry, therefore making the cutest little face just looking at the dog like "why". I was so proud of him for keeping it together but it was really funny too

He is ok and is now making up with the dog. He would go over pat him and then walk away laughing. It was really cuteThe kids with the dog! Poor Paisley kept her distance after she ran from the girl dog (which the dog thought oh lets play) and trampled Paisley! It was sad but only scared Paisley and that is when that dog was put up for a while.

That was our thanksgiving and it was so much fun. I missed my family but was very glad that we had a great time with family here. I hope I don't miss my family too much over Christmas since we are stuck here with the being to prego thing.

Well I am getting really excited to be bring home my little girl in just 6 weeks!!! I can't wait to hold her so I thought I would show everyone the cute take home outfit I got her. It is so cute and I have a cardigan to go with it that was paisley's but is in storage right now..so don't think I am just going to leave her in short sleeves in the middle of winter!

The outfit its self is a dress and pants. The top of the dress has a watermellon on it and the under shirt has little slises of watermellons all around it. The hat is a watermellon and the shoes and socks both have the same slised watermellons on them. The blanket is one side watermellons and the other has really cute ants along the edges some carrying watermellons! Love it so much! I found the hat and blanket at dittos and the found the rest on ebay...how lucky! Can't wait to put her in it Close up of the dress

Ok so just a blessing. My little cusin Candis had her baby on Dec. 2!!! Kennadee is her name and she was over 7 lb and 20 in long. Healthy and after a c-section both mommy and baby are doing great! I don't get to go see her until after Brezlyn make her apperance but can't wait to see the new little one! So glad it was all good but prey she has a fast recovery and everything stays good!
