Helping words to get through life

"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did" When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.
'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.' "

So this is mostly for me but I have to get it down...

I feel as I give to much of myself to others just to get let down over and over again. I give everything to my kids they are first in my life as I think it should be and then to my Hubby. I try so hard to do things for others and really poor my heart into the things I do just to get my heart walked on by that person. I have lost my faith in family because it seems that family (other than my little family) does not take care of each other any more. Not all of them are this way but instead of working things out I have seen (not in just mine) family turn their back on people, walk away or just make the person feel as if they don't matter to anyone. Do people not realize how they can hurt some one by these actions and how family should be there for each other. I just don't understand the world today I know people are busy and that family is more spread out. I also know people should stand up for what they believe in and keep there family safe from harm but to out cast people because of looks, lifestyles, and other should not happen with in the family. God taught us to love each other and i see more and more hate in the world and it makes me sad. I know I have struggled with these also but have tryed to make things right and to follow the path God is leading me. I just wish that family was more important to everyone and not just at Christmas and holidays but every day. If we can lean on them then who do we really have in the world?

I just wish people could see how their actions put a mark on someone who maybe going through more than what people see on the outside. Also how hate can ruin a Strong relationship between some one else. Wish there was a button that we could push to talk things out with out fights and hurt feelings and to really understand the other. Anger is a bad emotion sometimes!

Sorry the rant is over!

First Broken Bone....

Well it finally happened....Keyton has broken a bone!! 3 nights ago we where over at my Mom and Dad's for dinner. The kids where all playing in the living room running and being silly. I was in the kitchen with Mom talking and helping with Keyton's noodles for dinner. Then all of the sudden Keyton is screaming! He comes walking into the kitchen holding his head first thing i check is for blood...good there was none. Then I ask Paisley what happened, she tells me that he fell into the fireplace and hit his head on the brick. Ok so then I start looking for bumps....found it on his cheek there was a good little bump there. Did not look to bad you could see where he hit the corner of the brick and it went from the side of his nose to the end of the cheek. We iced it and watched him the rest of the night. Got in the car to leave and took so pics of this not swollen red spot that was starting to blue up. I was starting to worry but Tryon and I decided to wait til the morning before rushing off just to see how he was. Well in the morning he looked bad his eye was half swollen shut and the bruising was looking bad. He also did not sleep the best that night and now his breathing was not the best. So after I dropped Paisley off at school I called a friend who is a nurse for so advice just to see what she thought. She said she would take him in just to see and to make sure his breathing was ok. So off we go and of course they push all over it and Keyton is mad and screaming they check everything even his neck form the impact and all. Breathing was good, neck great, eyes slow but fine, swelling bad, nose bad, check bad....X-rays come back and he has a hair line fracture in his cheek. Not the best then they tell me he has a concussion also. Ok really not good but there was nothing they could do for him but watch him for infection or major head trauma. Then they also say his nose maybe dislocated at the top of the cartilage but again nothing they can do...if it is he will start waking up with blood in the nose. Ok well this morning he did so Check that one off too...dislocated nose. OH my POOR guy...fractured cheek, dislocated nose, and a concussion not a good way to spend Valentines Day.

He is doing better than I thought with the pain. He does not understand needs to sit still most of the day and ends up hurting it or just feeling bad later. He is not sleeping good with it and has to be propped up on two pillows to try and sleep. It looks like it hurts to me and makes me sad we can not do anything for him. I wish we could. :(

Pics of all 3 days so far...they told me the bruising would get worst as it comes to the surface.

Night of...
Sleeping in the car on the way to get daddy 3 hours after.

At the house after fighting him to change clothes...this has become my new challenge...dressing him with out hitting it or touching it.

close up of the starting of the bruise.

Next day after the doc. almost 24 hours later. bad swelling

top view..the camera did not capture the bruising under the surface that shows in just the right light
close up poor poor guy

Today...day 3 showing me it hurts to smile now

looking normal that eye is giving him problems with walking and doing stuff because of the limited vision from the swelling
Today after trying to play with the boys we watch the pain is getting to him...the new bruising coming up to the surface
eating showing me the blood in his nose and trying to open his eye wide
He is tired of me trying to take pics all the time..his face always looks pulled down on that side thanks to the swelling.

Will be a long recovery but hoping for the best and no infections please he needs to be better and someone needs to get him a bubble please!

Long time...

So sorry it has been so long. Here are some of the things my little babies have been up to...

Brezlyn had her first Birthday on Jan. 12!!! Can't believe that she is this big already!!! She loved the cake...LOL she dug in and eat so much of it and looked crazy with icing all over her face. She had a Bee party and my mom found a bee small cake and that was just for her. She then had a quick bath in moms sink and loved that even more. Now every time we run water in the sink she wants in to take a bath. LOL A few days latter on the 18 or so she started walking!!! OMG finally have one walk before 13 months. She loves it she still crawls more but is walking so good..I am one proud Mommy. I did get a little sad that she would not walk to me she took her first steps to Paisley. Paisley loved it and it was really cute to watch but I missed the sweet baby walking to me. Oh well she is walking and that is all that really matters. So Brezlyn is talking so well she amazes me every day and how smart she is blows me away. Love hearing her laugh and playing with big bro and sis. She fallows Paisley around all the time and I love this sister thing it is really sweet. (Cute story) Miss Bee has really learned to stick up for her self... On her b-day party Keyton was trying to take a toy from her. He was really pulling and she was getting really upset. He did get it from her and as he tried to run off she grabbed his pant leg and he went down. All I could do is laugh so hard. She crawled away like nothing happened. LOL she will be one tough girl.

Keyton is pretty much potty trained with some back wards movement but we are all but there. I am so happy that he is. He is happy and excited! He is the sweetest big brother and loves to feed his baby sis. He does not like to see her upset and is going to protect her so much and that warms my heart. He is so sweet and is learning his numbers and NOW he knows how to spell his name....All u do is say hey Keyton how do u spell keyton...He says...K-E-Y-T-O-N. I am so happy that he can do this at 2 almost 3. He is growing so much and is still just as big as his big sis. Good news his teeth are all great and never abscessed!!! SO excited about that. He does go back in this week just to make sure but for now it is looking like a perfect recovery. He had his first hand burger this last month, his first biscuit and grilled cheese. LOL poor guy but he loved them so much and was so excited and confused. With the hand burger he asked me how he eats it and then was so excited to be just like everyone else. He made up a fairy tale "Once upon a time Paisley was a tooter princess and she lived in a tooter castle." I was laughing so hard. Then Paisley added " it was on a tooter mountain where everyone toots all the time." Oh what they come up with

Paisley is getting big and so smart it is crazy. She can have adult conversations with me and Tryon to where u would never guess how old she is. She is really taking to learning sign language and Spanish. It is amazing...we told her the name of one of the workers at Rosa's new baby ( Azul) and she said they named her blue. I was so proud, she also wants to learn all the time ans ask question about everything and anything. She is also teaching Keyton every day when she gets home. She now carries Brezlyn around the house (it scares me) and they both love it. She helps out so much and loves helping bee get around the house. She will push her on the car or help her get on the jumping zebra. I love to watch them play and how sweet she is to her baby sis. I am enjoying it because I know it will not last long before Paisley does not want anything to do with her.

Loving my family and the adventures we are taking.

Heavy Heart

For those of you who still read this I am asking for some prayers. During this time of joy and holiday season my family has been hit hard. My cousins youngest girl Andi has been under going a lot of test lately because she has been extremely sick a lot this year. They are pretty sure (90%) that she has aggressive acute leukemia. She is going to Lubbock next week to run more test and see what they can do for her and start the proses of fighting. My cousin is having a really hard time with this because one its her baby, and two this girl was born on time (unlike the other two who were really preemie) and has not had the problems the older two have had. She is having a hard time seeing the why like we all do during these types of time. My heart is breaking for her and her family right now and I do not wish this on anyone. I know God can heal all and I know that this is a disorder that can be beaten. I am just asking for all the help of praying over this little girl as she goes through things that no one should have to go through. Thank you for your prayers and time...I will update when I can and know.

My little Bee is a big girl

Brezlyn in the past few weeks has went from a little baby to a big independent girl. She not only is a crawler but now she is pulling up on everything!!! Just yesterday I walked into her room to get her out of bed and she was standing up looking at me! Wow still can't believe how that can still amaze you and knock you off your feet!! She now has 6 teeth and is fallowing me around the house as I do things. She is a little ornery but in a funny way! She is still a joy and a blessing to my life and honestly say our family is so blessed to have her in our lives.

Off the title topic..... My other cuz. just found out she is having a girl...we told Keyton and he started shaking his head saying " No NO NO no more girls!" Poor guy we really need another boy in the family! HAHAHA He is big and doing great, learning from Paisley and impressing me all the time now if only he would potty train we would be great!

Paisley has started school here in Amarillo and loves it...I am really happy with it also...She is learning Sign language, Spanish and handwriting!!! This last week she came home and showed me the sign for friends, said Amigo (friend), Azule (blue), Verde (green), Rojo (red) and Amarillo (yellow) I am so impressed and she is so happy to have a challenge in school unlike last year! She is also so excited to be taking a field trip to the fair on Thurs. because she gets to ride the bus!! I am so happy the transition for her was easy and a good thing!

The kids

Well we have a CRAWLER!!! Brezlyn started crawling 4 days ago and she is finally getting to where she is really going all over the place. I am so happy and she gets so excited about it. She also has a new word...Bye. Love every time they learn a new word. She is growing up to fast. She has 4 teeth and 2 more coming in, she loves bath time and playing with her big bro and sis, she loves animals and loves to be with the family all the time. She seems to be a mama's girl most the time. She is still a happy girl for the most part and is already giving looks that make you die laughing. She is the little light in the family.
Paisley is getting big she finally had a little growth spurt and the kids don't look so much like twins any more. She is so smart every day she through me for a loop. The sweetest thing she said the other day is she told me when she grows up that she wants to be a mom like me and have kids...then she said I think I want 5 just like you mommy! So sweet and so funny to hear from a 3 year old. Lately she has been all about her birthday! She is so excited and wants a princess dress up party. She wants to be Belle and even wants the boys to come as princes! It is going to be a great and cute party! She is so excited and can't wait! She amazed me the other day while we where pricing fabric for her party dress...every sign she told me that Mommy those are 4 dollars or what ever they where! Wow she knew it was taking money...so cute too.
Keyton is getting big but the potty is not going...He made me sad and said he did not want to be a big boy and potty in the potty because he would not be my little boy any more. Oh so hit me hard so I let him know even potting in the potty he will always be my little boy. He is still just as sweet as ever and is starting to want to make people laugh. Still tender hearted and has a hard time with being the only boy sometimes. He loves to follow Paisley around but is starting to want to make some of the decisions too. He cracks me up because for Paisley's party he wants to be a frog princes so I was thinking the princes in the end of frog princes...No he wants to be a frog!!! SO cute and paisley was fine with that.
Loving watching them grow and the fun little things like finding acorns in the yard or reading story after story to them. I love how excited they get over the little things, wish we would not forget how to be like that!!! I love the kisses and hugs and I love yous. They are good kids and I am bless every day by the little things we or they do!
