First BATH!!! And Easter!!

Finally!!! It has been a long time coming...Brezlyn finally got her first bath a few days before Easter!!! It was such a big deal because she had to wait til she was almost 3 months old to enjoy one. The big kids were just as excited as we were and it was a family event!!

I love watching them go crazy hunting and looking for eggs...so sweet and such a great time.....More pic from our little family Easter and the baskets but they are still on the camera for now....I will post them soon and the pics from the trip to Amarillo...

Update on Brezlyn...We go on the 23rd (Friday) to have her sono. done and have the follow up apt. with the surgeon. This apt is to see if she need the surgery or not. Please pray for the best out come and I am hoping it has taken care of its self...If not I pray the surgery goes fine and we will be done with this for good. Thank you for all the prayers and the prayers to come. I will let everyone know the news soon!!!!

Elmo Baby!!! My little man's 2nd bday!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post pics. But on March 28th Keyton had his 2nd birthday party!!! Yes it was all Elmo, you wont believe how much that boy loves his Elmo! It was so much fun. We had it up at the church again and the kids had fun riding on the big wheels and playing with the basketballs! Here are some cute pics from my little man's big day!

Thank you to everyone for making his 2nd birthday the best. I can't believe his is already 2 and it makes me sad to think about it but his is such a good little boy. I am blessed....He is turning in to a sweet, smart little boy! I hope the next year is just as good for him as this last one was!

My baby boy is 2 today!!!

Wow how the time goes!!! Keyton is two today and such a little man! He is so sweet and loving to everyone and getting smarter all the time. All month he has been going around saying that on his birthday he is going to be 5 just because big sis keeps say on her next b-day she will be 4....trying to be the older one! Ha love it. He loves to help out around the house and is such a good big brother to his new little sis. He is having an Elmo party and boy does that boy love his Elmo! It will be so cute to see him so excited and all decked out in Elmo!!

Update on Brezlyn's Cyst

We got a call today from the doc. and he has set up her consultation with a surgeon in Fort Worth on the 30th. We will not know anything more until he looks at her films from the sono that we will be taking down with us. We are trying to stay optimistic and to stay calm during this stressful time. Thank you to everyone for the encouragement and prayers as we head off to get this taken care of. Please keep her in your thought and prayers during this week and the ones to come. I will let everyone know what they say as soon as we know how they are going to be able to take care of it.

Scary Road ahead...

So as many of you know we have been having test run on Brezlyn because her umbilical cord still has not fallen off yet. the first two rounds of test where both blood work and came back normal. So the next thing they did was send her in for a sonogram to see if the cord did not close on the inside because she was 2 week early. Well we got the test back today and the cord is closed but there is a small syst under her belly button. This is what has kept her cord from getting the white blood cells to attack it and get it to fall off. Now they are calling a surgeon to see about taking out the syst and to also detach the cord. I don't know when they will call us to say we have an apt. but should be soon I would think. This will mean some kind of surg. for my little girl who is only 2 1/2 months old. I know it needs to be done and am grateful for the doc. who wanted to cover all the bases so that we found it while it was small and not out of control but I am still scared to have her be put under at such a young age. Please pray that it will go fine and that once it is out we are done with it and that this will not happen again or it be cancer. I will let everyone know when we find out and I will put up more pics soon things have been crazy and stressful this month. Thank you again for the past prayers and the ones to come.

Round two!

So took miss Brezlyn to the doc. today to have round two of the chemical put on because it still has not come off. The doc. is now worried it is an immune disorder and is calling the infectious disease doc. to see if they want to see her and run more test. We go back next Thur. for her 2 month apt. and that is when he is going to let me know and refer me because he is pretty sure they are going to want to see her. My poor baby I don't understand it and don't want to have her in pain like this from all the test but i am glad they are trying to find out why it is staying on like this. So he said her count of white blood cells is fine but there maybe something not working quiet right with them....So round two of test here we come. Please keep her in your prayers that we get this all worked out.

Also had to take Keyton to the eye doc. because Paisley was fighting with him in the car and cut his eye ball causing it to bleed. Good thing we have an eye doc. in the family and he looked at and put some med. in it to keep it from getting infected. He is fine now and the bleeding stopped before we got to the office. When it rains it pours!

Update on Brez.

Got the test back today and everything was normal!!! Thank God and thank you for all the prayers. She is going tomorrow to have it cut out because it still will not let go and they think this would be better. No fun but at least we will be done with it and everything can go back to normal. Thank you again for the prayers oh and pics to come i promise.
